Oscar Y.L. Chau

M.Phil Student | Computational Geometry | DND player

Welcome to my website! I’m Oscar Chau, a current MPhil student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong supervised by Prof. Gary Choi. My research interests include discrete differential geometry, surface parameterization, mathematical modeling, and geometric deep learning, as well as applying computational mathematics to physical systems, with applications ranging from medical science to geological modeling.

Outside of research, I play Dungeons & Dragons with friends. I love how collaborative problem-solving leads to unexpected solutions. I also enjoy bridge and chess to keep my mind sharp.
